Shaun,

Neat! I've been following Juxtaviews in my RSS reader. I haven't seen my name in lights yet, but I'll keep an eye out.

I've since found out that someone's already done a very similar OpenID plugin, so I have to check that one out. I may retract my plugin or donate code back to the folks who wrote the original. Looking into this is on my to-do list. :)

I'm relatively new to OpenID and I can see why this post might be confusing. The plugin doesn't enable OpenID logins -- though there is a plugin that does this -- but it does embed a couple LINK headers in your WP installation which asserts that your blog is owned by the person identified by your OpenID. That's it; if you read the Sam Ruby post I linked, you'll get a gist of what the plugin is doing.

Sorry for the confusion. Sometimes I need to look before I code (and document thereafter). :)

But... um... can I use it on your site? I don't see any place to login.

You are an institution, Mike! BTW - you've been Juxtaviewed in the roundup this morning at http://www.juxtaviews.com. Haven't tested it yet, but this looks like a great plugin!

It works! I had got as far as creating an OpenID identity the other day and was just going to start editing templates. I envy your sense of timing.
